Reverend Akua Ofori-Boateng

Reverend Akua Buabema Ofori-Boateng is an expressive clergy and engineer with a strong belief in excellence.Upon graduating from Ghana International School, Rev'd Akua obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Miami University, USA; a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, USA; an MBA from Indiana University, USA; and a Master of Arts degree in Ministry from the Trinity Theological Seminary in Legon, Ghana.

In addition to over fifteen years’ experience in design engineering and corporate management, she also has extensive experience in startup ventures. She successfully established the Austrian-based ILF Consulting Engineers in Ghana as well as Sabine Solutions, which is a wholly owned Ghanaian firm focused on providing market entry, business development, and human resource management services. She also serves on the United States Trade Advisory Committee on Africa.

My Focus Areas

Rev'd Akua believes that evangelism should be less about what we say and more about what we do. Through her foundation Aequitas Rev'd Akua collects used clothes during the penitent seasons of Lent and Advent and distributes them in displaced areas during Easter and Christmas as a gift from Christ during these seasons that celebrate Him.

Engagement

Rev'd Akua through her company Sabine Solutions Limited holds regular training sessions and seminars where young people benefit by gaining skills such as CV writing, interviewing and presentation skills. Adults benefit by enhancing their own competencies, including learning to better understand and value youth, and increasing their commitment and energy to developing young people in their organisations. Through her sessions Organizations benefit by improving their employee relations, developing effective successions plans, embracing diversity, and optimising their organisational structure.

Knowledge is the path out of poverty. Rev'd Akua focuses on youth empowerment as the pathway to success by holding mentorship programs focused on these four key areas; Who are you? Where are you going? Where are you now? And How do you get there?.
